I have always been involved beyond the classroom with the schools I attend. I attended King Kekaulike High School in Maui. My freshman year, I was an active member in Interact club, a local service club. I was also on the junior varsity volleyball team and the girls varsity soccer team. I was the team captain for the girls varsity soccer team at KKHS both my junior and senior year. I was also a member of our cross country and track team. I have been involved in student government since elementary school. I was the class of 2015's vice president my sophomore year of high school, the student body vice-president my junior year of high school, and student body president my senior year. I am also the treasurer of ISU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). During my freshman and sophomore year I was a member of the Women of Color Association (WOCA). I am also a member of the National Society of Student Scholars (NSCS). Sadly I had to withdraw my membership from WOCA my junior year. I am always looking for ways to be involved with my school and community, but I like to be an active member. Balancing being a student athlete and a pre-med major is already a challenging task and I did not have the time to give my all to every club, but I am hopeful to rejoin WOCA my senior year when soccer ends.
I am majoring in a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences. My dream and plan is to go to medical school and becoming an OB-GYN. I aspire to be an OB-GYN for multiple reason, but mainly to ensure women continue to get the medical care they need. I hope one day to travel the world to places where they are in major need of doctors, like third world countries, and be able to assist women and children to the best of my
