It was around the first week in March - constant rain outside, cold enough to wear pants, and humid beyond belief. I did this every day while walking to school from a lot that felt like a mile away. I got inside, and did my regular routine of American Literature at the dreaded time of 7:00 am. Followed was pre-calculus, which was a breeze, P.E., and even Physics. A good ole’ fashion debate. Or in this case, just the debate team. I came in, got on my laptop, and got to work. We were a small group this year, counting only about 6 member including me. You had the 2 girls who did their work, but weren't here because they weren't going to the upcoming tournament. Then there were 3 others too. One of them, who was a bit stocky looking, was that person who would not shut up, not to mention he always liked to talk in his “Russian accent”, and one more guy who didn't know what he was really doing, like a blind man trying to drive a car. Then, you had my partner.We did public forum debate, which is a 2 person debate that debates on a certain resolution on either the pro or con, coming up with arguments on each side, and seeing who could beat the other. Let me tell you, my partner was something else. He didn't do his work, which I had to do for him instead, and he liked to filibuster irrelevant parts of the debate. It made my life a living hell because I had to control him in the debate rounds. He was friendly, but the amount of frustration he gave me was beyond belief, not to mention he never helped me with finding evidence or writing any of the
