I am applying to Suny Empire since I feel it is the appropriate seminary for me. I realized after attending more than one Cuny school. I feel as though I need a change in institutions, a school that offers innumerable amounts of support for me to achieve my academic goals. Suny Empire allows their adult students a great deal of support and flexibility which is what I need. My experiences in Cuny schools were not pleasant for me.
On April 18, 2017, I completed clinic rotation at Prince George’s County Health Department (PGCHD). We were scheduled for two shifts (morning and afternoon). PGCHD proves dental services for low-income children, high-risk patients, and moms-to-be of Prince George’s County residents. Patients are able to receive preventive and restorative care within the clinic. Days before going to PGCHD I was apprehensive, especially since it would be my first time treating children.

As you know, obviously, I am Violet. I go to Mountain View Preparatory in Cottonwood; I am writing to you as a part of Ms. McFarland’s Social Studies class. I enjoy math, history, and the universe, as well as reading. I love fantasy and science fiction, especially when relating to time travel and medieval worlds. I don’t know what I want to do in the future, to the point of being minorly depressing.
Several weeks ago, there was a national conversation about sexual harassment and assault with the #notokay moment. I spent some time reflecting on the experiences I 'd had in high school, college and as a young woman. My oldest daughter, who is in seventh grade, and I spoke about my experiences. I wanted her to know that she doesn 't need to accept being treated as prey and that she would be doing these boys a favor by informing a teacher or administrator if a boy touches her or makes lewd comments or otherwise harasses her. My thought was that some of these boys may have a man as a role model who is setting a poor example when it comes to respecting the dignity of others, and that early education/intervention could help the boys.
In HCP draft, the things that went well for me was introduction and section one. Not really happy with the draft I submitted because I thought I could have done it better if I was able to do several drafts or at least one drafts with the topic I choose to do for the HCP where I could have received several comments and feedback from the instructor. The things that went wrong in my HCP draft was that I should have not included “Steve Casaus” criminal offender in my section two because with his it made harder to discuss about the crime rate from 1994- 2015 as he was one of those criminal offenders who have done crimes before the 1994. I wish I had talked more about increase in crimes rate specifically from 1994 to 2015 and how they have increased the crimes rate from 1994 to 2015. Moreover, I should have organized my project better where my paper would have been able to follow every paragraph step by step which would have made my HCP project much stronger.
1. If you had a student like Esperanza in your school, a student for whom English is a weak second language, what would you do? Given the circumstances in this situation, an ELL program is not established for this specific school. I would try to create a small program or at least set a side time for individual help for the students. Mr. Perez is doing a wonderful job at trying his best to accommodate the students but there should really be someone who designated to fully work on behalf of the ELL students.
The words “fraud” and “abuse” are really two dissimilar terms with dispersed meanings as they relay to healthcare. Fraud is a deliberate trickery or falsification of facts that can affect in unsanctioned advantage or reimbursement. Examples of fraud may contain submitting claims for amenities not provided, fabricating dues or medical records and distorting dates, occurrence, length, or explanation of services rendered. Abuse, on the other hand, is defined as actions that are inappropriate, unsuitable, external to satisfactory ideals of qualified behavior or medically redundant. Common examples of abuse contain unsuitable billing practices, letdown to preserve precise records and an outline of privileges for amenities not medically essential.
My decision to take AP Composition and Literature has been made for a long period of time as I have always excelled and enjoyed my English classes. I also am always looking to further challenge myself academically when possible. While this made my decision for wanting to be in this class simple, I do fear of not keeping up with the workload as this year my schedule is made up of five advance placement classes. However, I have planned and prepared myself for this workload and while it will be difficult, I believe I have a plan that will allow me to keep up in all my courses. From AP Composition and Literature I hope see course work including a strong element of writing and formatting simply because they are areas I believe I am need of the most improvement.
In PE, we were to create a six-week, specialized training program for a client that was going to do a 5k. The client that my group had received was a forty year old man who underwent a double bypass heart surgery. A double bypass surgery is when the patient is put under general anesthesia and the surgeon repairs anywhere from two to four coronary arteries. We were given a series of assignments to complete to help us decide on the final draft for our six-week program. We didn’t want to overwork our client because of his heart surgery, so we tried to keep it as simple as we could, while making sure he got trained properly for the 5k run/walk.
Reflection has been strongly advocated by the English National Board for Nursing & Midwifery (1994), United Kingdom Central Council (UKCC) (1996), and a wealth of nursing literature over the past decade to improve nursing practice. Reflection is an in-depth consideration of events or situations outside of one-self, solitary, or with critical support. Burnard (1995) argues that, reflection has its roots in experiential learning, as it forms the second stage of the experiential learning cycle. Active reflection gives nurses the confidence in terms of clinical decision making. It can also be a meaning of identifying strengths and weaknesses in practice and enabling nurses to learn from their mistakes.
