1. There are standard exercises and homework that are assigned to clients, including self-care, breathing exercises, and communicating with family members. The standard exercises and homework is based on what topics the group is learning about today. The rationale for this is that clients will learn to incorporate the skills they have been learning in their day to day function. They are explained to the client as the opportunity for them to learn skills that will help them be able to cope with daily upsets.
spoke with LAbcorp Billing department (Wendy K.) and she told me that the reason of why the patient labs was denied is b/c his insurance benefit package doesn 't cover the service. She said that our Provider from Westside doesn 't have to do nothing with this. We select the appropriate CPT codes and Dx Codes for this type of visit and also this is nothing related with any NPI number from our providers. I think the patient need to contact directly LABCORP billing department and spoke whith them about the bill. Labcorp and his payer need to work together on this since WFH don 't bill Labs to Labcorp.
72 Hours in The Dark We are living in a world where technology is our everything. We use it everyday for hours on end, it’s how we communicate, get our knowledge and figure our way around town. Schools rely on it to get their work through and our offices rely on it to communicate and get our jobs done. Honestly our society can’t live without it.
Volunteer hiring and staff training requires multiple meetings and training session throughout the month before the event. Event day is on October and a post evaluation or feedback will be gathered after the event or throughout the whole month for various reason, like to get a more accurate response compare to gathering feedback 3 months later. Then a month break is given to the staff of the event. Then back to the event planning but this time it will require less or more time depending on the success of the previous time or changes to be made on the next
Tran Nguyen Critical Reflection #4 This past week, my team is talking about different grants we are going to apply for. We also talked about doing an event too. For Professor Horton’s class, we are working on a nonprofit organization event planning and we decided to add the event to Campaigns class as well.
Tawney Nodland – As I look back over the past semester of English Composition, I realize that I have grown as a writer. Not onlyhas my understanding of the writing process changed, my whole attitude towards composition has too. This composition course has made a significant impact on my learning experience and has given me tools to take forward into my future educational and professional goals. Throughout this course, I have discovered things about myself as a writer and know some of my strengths and weaknesses. I now feel more prepared for future writing assignments, whether for work or for school.
When it comes to the course concepts I have learned, I would like to demonstrate Free writing, Proofreading as well as the Discourse Community. At first, I am going to talk about Free writing. Free writing means when you are writing something, you should keep writing, never stop and try to write everything down whatever comes to your mind. When I free write, I just need to focus on my content and leave grammars, spelling and punctuation behind. It seems to me that it is really a good way to enrich my content and help me figure ideas out as much as I can.
Over the course of English Composition at Eastern Washington University my writing has change drastically. The way I write compared to high school has changed immensely; not only am I more confident in my writing ability but I also have learned to write more academically, intelligently and purposefully. When starting my first quarter of English Composition I had only previously take 2 years of high school language arts. Jumping from sophomore English to College Composition was a giant leap forward. In high school, I had teachers supply me with a complete outline for my writing, usually had weeks to prepare and plenty of class time to finish it up.
In order to plan our unit based on time concepts, my teaching partners and I needed to assess our students prior knowledge. By doing a pre-assessment, my teaching partners and I were able to determine where to start with our students, how difficult to make each lesson, and what specific time concepts to focus on. We were also able to use the pre-assessment data to determine the range of student understanding, and figure out which students needed more support and which needed more of a challenge. Our pre-assessment lesson mainly focused on basic time concepts and our second and fourth objective, which was time to the minute and word problems. This lesson was done by splitting the class in half, in order to gain a stronger understanding of each
The purpose of this short paper is to discuss the process and outcomes of the capstone project. Additionally, it would reflect its impact on my future career path. I consider this project as a preamble of what we (capstone course students) will meet in our professional setting. This project marks the ending of an educational journey, and the beginning of a scholar’s mindset. I have learned to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired over the course of my Masters of Science in Psychology.
During the arduous English 120 course, the focus involved intriguing topics of race, gender, and stereotypes in the media. Highlights included analyzing and summarizing a specific image advertisement and an article. The most entertaining assignment was the research paper which took about half the semester to complete. In contrast, to the research papers I had written in high school I never wrote an annotated bibliography before and the task of the assignment was different. The task involved identifying a social issue that occurs in media then create an argument surrounding it.
My small group experience was back in Secondary School where I was part of my school’s National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) Cadet Leaders’ committee. The group lasted for approximately two years. Within the two years, we have meetings every fortnightly. This committee is a task group in which all members worked together to carry out activities for the school’s NPCC unit. The Cadet Leaders’ committee comprises of 10 members.
Mid Semester Reflection This fall has been a lot more challenging than I had expected it to be. The workload compared to last year is a big change. College is going to take sum getting use to. I am starting to learn what I need to do in order to continue to be successful. This is going to take hard work to continue to do the work necessary in order to pass all of my classes.
According to my understanding, education is the goal of life and teaching is a task that looks simple from the inside but which is in fact complex on the outside. In this assignment, I am going to justify my teaching philosophy using philosophical references of some great philosophers like John Dewey, Neil Noddings, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and Paulo Freire. In his theory of education, Plato says that knowledge must be certain and infallible. Having read and understood Plato’s two essential characteristics of knowledge, I conclude that Plato’s belief is that knowledge is absolute. Plato also stated that knowledge is innate and has been lost from us materialistic beings (H. Thesleff, 2013).
In class we talked about different study methods, my plan is to utilize them when fall comes. Currently I have no classes to study for, only papers to write and articles to read. In the fall, however, I will definitely apply these study methods. The most important one, I thought, was writing notes longhand. I never owned a laptop throughout highschool, so I always took notes on paper anyhow.
