I was raised in a small francophone rural Northern Ontario village called Belle Vallée, a tightly knit community. Since I was young, I always had a passion for health sciences and my ultimate goal is to be able to study medicine. From there came my choice to pursue my studies in nursing as a path to learn the human anatomy/physiology, improve my bedside manners and interact with clients; all to build a solid foundation to study medicine. In my undergraduate education, knowledge was passed on in different settings: in small group with case-related scenarios, hands-on skills and placements, as well as academic lectures.
