The primary purpose of observational assessment is for refining teaching and improving ther learning, according to Allen & Cowdery, 2011. In that’s exacly what you can see in this assignment of mine, I use the information
Proficiency is among the most imperative components of formal training, yet Garity shows how approaches like No Child Left Behind adds to the worldwide divide in education. A tremendous piece of education is the utilization of learning. One can 't shape sentiments on an issue if that individual does not know about that issue. The capacity to listen precisely is the best method to assimilate data regarding a matter. One can 't just sit in on a meeting and tune in to somebody talk and hope to assimilate what they are stating.
This is an excellent example of observation-based research because

The correlational study will last for about one month. At random the chosen population of children will be divided into a control and experimental group. The experimental group will be the group of children whose parents are asked to put them on a regular sleep cycle for about 4 weeks ensuring that they get at least 8-9 hours of sleep per night. On the other hand, the control group will be the children whose parents are encouraged to let their children sleep as late as possible so that they get less than the appropriate 8-9 hours of rest. Furthermore, both groups will be given three simple cognitive tests consecutively while being observed in a classroom setting.
On the sixteenth of November, I observed the Eastridge High School Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. Jeff Hoffman. It is important to mention that the piece being rehearsed have been worked on for around a month and a half, with Mr. Hoffman around half the band for forty minutes a day. The concert was a little less than a month away. The rehearsal, which began at seven-thirty am, started off on a great note.
William Corsaro (2006) has added another view on looking into observational learning in particular children’s friendships. Corsaro wanted to explore how children understand friendship and how they speak to one another. Corsaro used a video recorder to further observe his designed experiment as well as making many notes and thoughts. His experiment involved a member of his research team taking part with the children who were allowed to play together naturally. This gave the researcher first-hand and deeper knowledge into key valves and fully observed how children learn to speak to each other and develop those key friendships.

At some point in our lives, we have learned by observing the behaviors of others. Observation can play a very important role in determining what and how we learn. It can have positive or negative effects on one 's development and behavior, especially in children. This is demonstrated in the social learning theory.
Observational learning can be defined as a learning that occurs through observing the behavior of others. In my years of living, there have been several situations were observational learning occurred. In high school, I was an antisocial individual from childhood, so I did not hang with anyone that I did not have a connection with in high school. I hung with only two individuals every day, which were my best friends. If you saw one of us, the other two were not far behind.
Nowadays, some parents and teachers practice operant conditioning with children and students. As a mother of four, I used to give my children something in exchange if they do their homework or help me with the house’s chores. Now I know that those actions could have good or bad consequences in my children’s behavior as students. According to the book, stickers and smiley faces work for early childhood and elementary students, but they will not be as effective with middle school and high school students. We as teacher have to know the likes and dislikes of the students in order to define what they consider to be positive or negative (Bohlin, Durwin, & Reese-Weber, page 163).
Classroom Observations Mrs. Canada is the first grade teacher that I observed, and the subject that she was teaching was reading. She had planned well-organized power points and crafting materials in advance, so she was prepared for the lesson. The two times I observed, the lesson that was being taught at both times was reading. Children in the classroom used a lot of previous knowledge for the lesson.
