Loyalty, trust and honesty are all important things to look for in a friendship. When you meet someone with these characteristics, you feel free and worthy of something. I’ve learned how difficult it is to find good hearted people in this world, so when you do meet them, do not take advantage of their love. It shows Lennie trusts George to look after him. In O’Brien Where Art Thou, Delmar and Pete trust Everett to escape jail successfully and get rich. They trust Everett to start a whole new life without ever having to go back to jail. I believe it’s ok to trust people without even knowing them, but to be cautious, trust is what keeps people together. As in relationships, friendships and family.
