Bobbi- your insight about learning more about the early evangelizers has inspired me to pray and look more closely on their journey and experiences. I took a study called Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer by Fr. Mark Toups. It is an excellent study which guides us on how to pray with scripture, something I never learned in catholic school. You have inspired me to read, pray and journal about the Acts of the Apostles. St. Paul’s mission is an inspiration to me as being that conversion is at the heart of his story. Like the sister in the story, I too have been caught up with the busyness and dryness of work. I found myself within such close proximity to Adoration and never participating. Our parish has adoration on First Friday for 12 hours. I found that if I was held accountable I would go. So I signed up as a guardian for a one hour shift. I find myself staying over the hour many times. I agree this is very necessary for a missionary disciple to pray and work. I too I find it meaningful when I am before the Blessed Sacrament, to pray to the Lord for the needs of the people I meet. #262 “My great joy groups devoted to prayer and intercession, the prayerful reading of God’s word and the perpetual adoration of the Eucharist are growing at every level of ecclesial life.” I have also tried to incorporate praying the rosary on a daily basis, I too am not faithful at times because I am tired or lazy. I decided not to dwell in the past failures or obsess about the future opportunities, just take it one day at a time. I admire your discipline for daily Mass and
