The U.S. dairy industry is sixth largest in the world in terms of milk production and represents more than one‐tenth of the total world milk production in 2010. The industry annually produces about 20 billion gallons of raw milk, which is processed and sold as butter, cheese, ice cream, and fluid milk. This amounts to about $27 billion in sales each year. They seek continuously increasing profits, production is maximized, the cows must be pushed to produce more and more milk. The industry creates the inferno which includes imprisoning, forced impregnation, the theft of newborn calves, consistency of injecting growth hormones and antibiotics to provide the unnatural amount of milk, mastitis for over-carry, and early death from exhaustion. Therefore, there exists the need of having an effective change to reduce the stress that dairy industry facing to create a better farming environment. The most convenient way is to milk your own pet at home. It saves the cost of labors, trips to markets, . . . etc. If you have cats as your pet also, you can feed them dog’s milk from home without worrying about the contents of the dangerous chemicals that risks your health. Dog’s milk actually has the familiar or even better milk composition which contains a higher percentage of protein and minerals compared to cow’s. A dog's milk composition includes 17.5% Protein, 3.8% Sugar, and1.1% Ash while cow’s milk contains 5.0% Fat, 3.8% Protein, 4.9% Sugar and 0.7% Ash. The amount of calcium is lower and more familiar with human’s milk than cow’s milk which is proved to increase the risk of having bone loss. The point is the benefit of having dog’s milk as an addition is undeniable. And the dog should participate in the dairy industry to reduce the stress from the cow, produce a higher quality of the product and prevent the cruelty of dairy
