II. Body Paragraph
A.First of all, in The Odyssey there are many supernatural monsters and gods.
B. For example, Odysseus and his men were rowing past Scylla when “Scylla made her strike, whisking six of [his] best men from the ship”(1236).

Scylla is a great big monster with 6 heads with very sharp teeth and long tentacles like an octopus.
D. Scylla scared Odysseus and his men and Odysseus told them to row faster, or they were all going to get eaten.
E. Odysseus gets away from the cyclopes and yells “cyclops in the end it was no weak man's companions you were to eat by violence and force in your cave”(1220).
F. The cyclopes is a great big one eyed giant who eats some of Odysseus’ men and holds them in his cave.
G. Odysseus and his men were concerned that they will all be eaten because they were not able to get out of cave, so they stabbed the eye of the cyclopes to blind him and got away.
H. Another example of monsters is when Odysseus told his men that “These are the dangerous ladies who lure men to their deaths” (1230).
