My overall marketing strategy will consist of reaching new customer segments, increasing awareness of my products, selling more products from certain suppliers and having a greater online presence. Examples of my marketing goals include, increased market development by selling existing products to new target markets. Idea generation, gathering ideas from numerous sources, and using a marketing mix of tools called the four P’s of marketing which include product, price, place, and promotion to show customer’s how my products can deliver satisfaction and bring value to them. Research will be an essential part of my marketing strategy. I will use market segmentation which is a well-defined target market designed to persuade certain groups of people to buy my goods. When selecting peer groups that are more likely to buy my products, some factors I will consider are income level, gender, age, personality, lifestyle and social trends. I will gather information about my market, and aim at convincing them they need my products and services, not that they just want it. …show more content…

Once this is achieved, I will have a better idea of how I need to market and advertise for it. Finding as many customers as possible and trying to serve them all, may not serve any customer well. Serving customers well and making a profit is a better strategy. Marketing management is important to develop a customer value-driven marketing strategy. Strategies I will consider are promotions, product, selling, marketing, and societal marketing concepts. I will keep an eye on the market trends so I am aware of any changes over time, and so that my strategy remains relevant and targeted.
