John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17th 1942 in Chicago Illinois. He was the son of Danish/Polish parents. It had a very rough early life, because his father was an alcoholic who was very abusive to not only him and his siblings but also to his mother. At a young age Gacy also stated to have thoughts and conflict on his sexuality. He also had a lot of trouble in school, he was not able to go outside and play with the other children because of his congenital heart condition and he went through a major turmoil due to his confused thoughts on his sexuality. Gacy was always trying to make hos father proud but could never seem to get his approval. His father would often call him a sissy boy and tell him that he was going to grow up a queer. the victim was unidentified between fourteen and eighteen years old. Gacy strangled the boy and put the body in his closet after he had murdered him. He claimed that there was fluid that leaked out of the boy's body while it was in his closet that stained his carpet, he then took the body and buried it about fifteen feet from his barbecue pit in his backyard.
Gacy was also known as the "Killer Clown". He stated that acting as a clown allowed him to get closer to children. In 1975 Gacy arrived at Anthony Antonucci's house and gave the boy large amounts of alcohol and wrestled him to the floor, putting him in handcuffs. The cuff on his right hand was loose and Anthony freed his hand and wrestled Gacy to the ground, Gacy screamed threats but then told the boy that if he removed the handcuffs Gacy would leave the house (John Wayne Gacy).
Gacy was divorced to his second wife in 1975. Gacy continued to murder young teenage boys as time went on. On December 22, 1978 Gacy confessed to the police that since 1972 he had committed about twenty five to thirty murders, all of whom he claimed were teenage males. Gacy drew a diagram of his basement to show where the bodies were buried under his home. Gacy was brought to trial on February 6, 1980 and charged with thirty three
