Introduction: My desire for this paper is to accomplish several goals. As a middle school child I have been thinking to be a Pediatrician. The purpose of this essay is to describe my survey results, goals, and desires. Besides the research needed for this paper, I hope to stay organized and meet all my deadlines. Survey Results: I took these surveys to compare careers the surveys linked to, to the ones I desire. A top cluster was Health Science- The medical and health fields continue to advance with technology and new job opportunities and aging population and increased competition among companies will increase the demand for new and improved medications and create more jobs. Completion of a fellowship may be required for pediatric board certification, which is optional but obtained by many pediatricians. These professionals can expect solid employment opportunities. I chose this career because I have always liked helping with children. Also, I have always looked up to anyone in the medical field. For a pediatrician out of residency for just a few years the average starting salary is around $135,000, while overall the average pediatrician salary is in the area of $175,000 a year. I think this will be important by the time I graduate because I will have a good understanding on what I want to do and see how much I will make a year around. It requires concentration in scientific courses. Medical school must complete a full year of coursework in each of the following subjects. In college i'm thinking about doing volleyball and i'm going to try to help my future out by doing the sport I love. I see myself as being a respectful pediatrician to the little children and helping them out on whatever they need me. Volunteering in the community helps get you a part time job it also looks good on your employment and college applications.
