Personal Statement: A Career In Sports Medicine

This particular field of sports medicine has many job opportunities. Sports medicine careers offer a wide range of jobs that are placed all over the world. My freshman year I strained my hip flexors causing a visit to my local therapist to get help with recovery. Ever since then, I wanted to go into this field of work, and further my knowledge in this career. My favorite thing in the world is sports so I would love to stay close to athletics. I would love to go to college in this field, and to find out more about sports medicine to see all of my choices. In this field you have to know key things to do your job. You have to know how to prevent injury, how to keep the patient in good physical shape, you also have to be able to treat muscular and skeletal conditions that occur quite often in athletes. As a physician you help build their strength back so they can get back to doing there everyday things. The salary for this position on average is $202,600.00 this amount is depending on where you are working and how much experience you have with the job. They have a big influence on the public health in getting you to make healthy dietary choices. Both of these jobs help you improve your health and teach you how to eat healthy. When being in this job you inform the public of the safety of the foods, working with food companies to ensure that it is healthy enough.
