In easier terms, it is the system of beliefs that underpin an individual's response to the question of what is right and what is wrong. So what is right and what is wrong? He helps guide us and our consciences. I know not everyone is a Christian, but I believe that he personally helps me, and other Christians. He does this through our conscience, but also through the Holy Spirit. I believe that our conscience and the Holy Spirit work together to help us determine what is right and what is wrong. There are times where I will be watching a tv show and things are happening in the show, and I believe that the Holy Spirit convicts me into shutting off the show, because it is not good, it is morally wrong. God also helps us determine what is right and what is wrong by the ten commandments. These ten commandments guide us along and help us know what God thinks is right and wrong. Micah 6:8 says, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” This is saying that God tells us what is good. Also, Deuteronomy 12:8 says, ““You shall not do according to all that we are doing here today, everyone doing whatever is right in his own eyes,” which I believe is saying that God determines what is right and wrong. Conscience can be a tricky path, though, because everyone has a different conscience and therefore feels less/more of guilt/shame/joy/pride, etc. So everyone has a different conscience and has different levels of what they believe is right and wrong. That is where our morals come in.
