Growing up in a society where individualism is heavily valued, and success is almost expected, I have found the importance of influence. Looking up to my professors in cosmetology schools, my parents, world renowned scholars, high theory individuals. I was taught all my life that these were the most individualistic it gets. From the time of the Renaissance Period, when artists were first displaying their hidden art of years, was the means in which I should face life. Little did I know that one of the most wise, and worldly group of human beings, had been seated at my right hand for about five years.
