No one should ever have to go through the pain I have been through. It was August 10, 2002, My mother had to have an emergency c-section. I had died right before, but came back. Over a course of 2 weeks I had died 4 times, but that’s not what this is about. This is about how I hurt my arm. It all started with a normal day in third grade. It was just after lunch we were learning to write cursive. This was the second day and we were on the letter B. I started to write and I felt and heard a loud pop. “Oww!” I cried. “What happened,” said my neighbor. After I had gotten ice and calmed down a little, two people took me to the office, where they had already called my parents to pick me up. The next day I went to the hospital. No one knew what was wrong. I was prescribed to only write three words per hour. Soon after that I had my first IEP. It was just what I had expected. My teacher and couple people from the district talk about what we were going to do. After the IEP, they gave me a computer to use. At first I used a program called “Dragon Naturally Speaking.” The program only helped for a couple months. There was so many glitches that I couldn’t use it. So, I went to typing, but then there was math. For math I either had a friend or a teacher, for tests, write for me. Over the next two years, the technology stayed the same. Then I got to middle school. I needed something light that I could carry around and needed something better for math. So, I got the surface pro and it had many problems. For math I got an Aid to write. The surface pro gave me so many problems, like a broken USB port and the screen not turning on. Then, in eighth grade, I got the surface pro three. In the first couple of weeks I had more problems with it than a year with the first one. The problems are too many to list, but some are deleting all my work and not letting me sign
