Personal Narrative: Chuck E Cheese

Many children have a strong fear of often irrational things. For me, it all started with
Chuck E Cheese. He's a grown man (or woman) in a mouse suit, asking children if they're having a good time. On the creep-o-meter, thats gotta be a strong 9 at the least. I distinctly remember the first time I went there. It was all fun and games until the mouse showed up. My mother and father, as many parents do, try to create memorable events for their children. Most include embarrassment. It was my older brother's birthday and I was about one year old. My mom and dad wanted me to meet the monster, but I refused. I hid under the table and said, "I don't want to meet the mouse. He is too big. I don't want to meet him. I just want to go home," over
