The fire that was light for the night is burning low in the old brick fireplace. The heat from the low light orange burning fire is upstairs in the open attic.The attic is filled with warm sleeping bodies.Then there is creaking slowly getting closer ,with a light,bright as the stars of the night showing the way.Behind that light is a man in his mid 40’s and with fiery red hair and pale,freckled covered skin,he looked like an Irishman.

Then there was a jolting and shaking from the foot of each bed,and a light whisper like the wind was talking to you so calm,and yet excited.”Time to wake up and go out to the blind and watch and wait for those deer.” my grandpa mark exclaimed in an excited manner. The wild cat started pacing back and forth like it was thinking on how to get in the blind. After a few minutes of just waiting and watching the wild cat in fear, I was able to move but ,my mind was on a rampage of none stop, what is going to happen? Will I live? Am I safe? I realize I was in panic mood and didn’t know what to do. I decided to duck down maybe if the wild cat couldn’t see me he would leave,I waited a few minutes which felt like an eternity. After I stood up I saw the wild cat still pacing out in front , I obviously didn’t trick him. Then I heard a rustling sound on the side of the blind i peaked out the window to see what it could be. To my surprise it was a rabbit , the rabbit was just sitting there and nibbling on a sugar beet. Then I looked over at the wildcat and saw him creepy slowly towards the rabbit. The rabbit must have seen the wild cat because it took of running into the woods that were slowly being light by clouded sunrise. The wild cat took off after the rabbit, I thought “here’s my chance to run back to camp” . I booked it out of that blind and started running all I could think about was, I need to get back to camp and make it there in one
