Personal Narrative: From Migrating To America

Right when I woke up, I jumped out of my bed and just remembered in my mind that I’m immigrating to america. I was excited like those 10 monkeys jumping on the bed, but I felt sad because I had to leave my friends and family at Israel. I went on a horribly boring car trip to the airport. I I'm Arad, I immigrated from Israel and I'm 12 years old today. I could feel air breezing through my hair, I could hear people chatting with tone, I could hear the speaker sing through my ears, America... Finally. Sitting in the plane seats were like sitting on the spiky rug mats, that part was the most horrible part. After those hours sitting and eating, the plane decided to sit down and chill in America. I stopped at New York first, then had another car ride to chicago, I felt like I was gonna die. but when I came to chicago, (where we are gonna live) suddenly I felt like I was just born, feel so different, it's like I came from another world. The first friend I met was surprisingly a person that moved here recently too, his name was Kenny. He was strong as a bull, he was smart enough, and he’s a korean. Then he introduced me to a really smart and a genius named David, also a korean. Then a guy named Michael, his childhood and best friend. He wasn’t smart as David but smart enough, he wasn’t strong as Kenny but strong enough, he was just really skilled. Most of the time I took a program called SEL, it was a program in school that helps immigrants learn about american language. I felt like I was being treated like I was an idiot, trying to get all those pronunciations right and learning ABC and stuff. I made billions of mistakes, but I still was able to make up for it. The culture, the friends, and the language was so new to me that, I felt so newly born. It was fun how I could socialize with people who has different culture and language too, but I still felt
