Joining the sisterhood of Kappa Kappa Gamma has enhanced my life in many ways. Throughout the past year, I not only met the friends that will be with me for the rest of my life, but met the people I call family. While this has been a major setback, I value my education and this sisterhood more than anything and am determined to make sacrifices in order to continue to have those two things in my life. As a result, within the last three weeks I have applied for over $40,000 in scholarships, which required me to write around 20 separate essays. Despite my efforts, it is unlikely that I will be awarded all those scholarships and I hope the Beta Tau chapter can assist me. I have received support from this chapter in so many different ways within the past year, and I hope that once I graduate and attain my career goals, I am able to give back all that this place has provided me. Thank you for considering me for this scholarship. Regards, Ana
