It was the last inning in our all-star game, and we were losing 10 to 8. Our team had 2 outs and we couldn’t get the third. Our pitcher was doing bad, throwing all balls, while all of us in the field were tired, ready to fall asleep at any moment. There goes another walk. They score again.

For the past couple of months, I have had the wonderful opportunity to take part in Civic's production of “Annie.” This being my first Civic show, working with the incredible directors and cast members has been remarkable and a great learning experience. In addition to rehearsing for the production, I also participate in voice, piano, and dance lessons; meaning taking on all of these activities, in addition to homework, can be quite the task. But, I love every moment of it.
The members were all clean, looked healthy and well kempt. I was expecting an entire different presentation from everybody in the room. When I walked into the room, there was a lady standing and greeting people as they walked in. She walked up to me and welcomed me, I didn’t have to explain why I was there or what I wanted. There was coffee and cookies at a table and the chairs were in the centre of the room.
It was silent and had an enclosed smell. I manage to find my way to the security passing through restrained hallways. I was disappointed to find that no one was there either but as I was about to leave the security I saw an employee and asked him where I could find some information about the building architecture and history. He was kind enough to show me the administrative agent’s office whose name is Rachel Abugov.
On arrival, I noticed that the house was heavily packed with eager viewers who seemed to have an extensive knowledge of the show. In this case, the theater had adequate security, proper lighting in and outside the building, and a
I have had tough hope once, I had to move to a different state and start to get used to the new place. Moving was hard and took a long time to move everything to our new house. My new house was hard to get used to because it was different and I wasn 't used to it which made it hard to sleep and I had to leave my friends behind and I would have to find new friends. Making new friends was hard because I would be alone until I found new friends and I would have no one to talk to so I would be very quiet. Usually I would always be talking to a friend and I am only social with friends.

I sat on my bunk bed, defeated. Six years of my head in the clouds, and finally I surrendered to practicality: I just wasn’t soloist material. So what if I had wanted nothing else for as long as I could remember; who cares if I had given up everything to pursue a crazy dream? People make new decisions all the time, right? I’m a curious person - I’m just reevaluating the world, I told myself.
Today was the day, the last day of practice, before I had my first hunter jumper show. My I just realized that I was going to have to wash all my equestrian pants. I only had one pair clean and they were my black show pants. I had a brand new shirt for the show. When I got out of the shower I put on my pants I wore yesterday but it was only a two hour practice.
Nowadays, this seems like an “oh well” kind of situation, but to 4 year old me… it was game over. I recall only being in the red room for a few days until the staff realized what was wrong and put me back in the blue room. My only other vivid memory is when I was out at recess playing tag with my friends, and
