I think I’ll start this essay with a question. An academic cliche sure, but by this point in my essay it’s at least not my first sentence. Entering Rutgers University, I thought my most difficult challenges were going to be reading, writing, and public speaking. However, reflecting on my experience leading up to my graduation, the challenge that comes to mind most frequently, is time management. Learning how effectively prioritize, manage, and balance a schedule comprised of countless assignments, tasks, appointments, familial responsibilities, classes, internships, personal life, and relationships can be intimidating and challenging for those lacking strong organizational skills.
Next year at Embry-Riddle I plan start studying Cyber Intelligence and Security. Ever since middle school I knew I had a developing interest in the field of computer science and spent most of my time building the skills to excel in my classes. One of the first projects I got to use the computer on was a video for the Oregon Trail. I decided that it would be best to design an advertisement to showcase the facts in a new and creative way. When my group turned the project in, and it was shown to the class my teacher rewrote the assignment according to what we did and used it as an example of great work when recruiting new people.
My second day placement was completely different than the first one. I arrived late because of the weather. Once I met with my instructor Alison in acute care floor, she assigned me to work with the RN nurse Linda. Linda is very kind, thoughtful, and wanted me to be the there and she thought me the first thing to do, is use computer and read the patents vital sign, diagnosis and read night shift report.

My first day at Miami Dade College is an important event in my life. For me it is an unforgettable day in my life, since it was a goal proposed and fulfilled. College life is a life of freedom. I was waiting on the day when my university life could start, the expected day finally arrived, and it was a very light day the sky cleared. When she arrives at the Miami Dade College, a person named Michelle gave me a tour around the college to explain to me where are the parking lots, the offices of the councilors and the classrooms where they taught to the subjects.
Summer of 2011 is where it all began. School was just ending, and the feeling of excitement rushed through my whole body. My friends and I accepted a job offer as counselors at a day camp in the Catskill Mountains. It was my first time going away from home, and it felt good to make mature and independent decisions. As the day got closer, my enthusiasm transformed into worry and fear for the upcoming day.
The first half of this semester was swift and I can’t believe how fast it passed by. College is a whole new world for me that I had never imagined with a lot of new experiences that I hope will shift me into a better and smarter person. There are more things I can do in college that I would have never dared to do in high school and I am happy for these new freedoms. I am able to eat in class, leave class without asking and they don’t care if I pay attention or not. My high school teachers would always tell me to wait for the bell, sometimes would not let me leave and if I did not pay attention they would yell.
