Personal Narrative: My Trip To America

I want every material thing in the world. I want new games, new clothes, a new phone, and a new car, and a whole bunch of additional things. Most of the time my parents are able to get me everything I demand, but I just want more and more. I'm not satisfied with what I already have; I basically just take everything for granted, and I realized this after I took one trip and experienced one bizarre event. At first before my trip, I was constantly begging for items with costly logos. Just because I would see extravagant items walking all around me. Where I witnessed many things one of which was a huge explosion. The moment I arrived, I was hit with a funky unpleasant smell this gave me a hint that things were going to be different compared to America. Then when I arrived to my grandparents/cousins house, I was in disbelief it felt like they lived in an abused apartment. It was really shocking to me they had little to no air conditioning, power outages, a tiny tv, old furniture, and old appliances. It was like this everywhere over there, but the worse part was when I went out to explore and shop in the city with my family. This was when I was really exposed to the hideous parts of town. The city was filled with mountain like piles of trash every where made up of shoes, paper, food, manure, and dirt with an egg like odor with beggars in every street. My family and I decided to go shop at this famous shoe store and we drove past many piles of trash and about after 3 minutes when we reached our destination a huge boom went off. It was the first time I ever heard a boom like this, it rattled everything around me. Then all of a sudden another loud boom went off, my ears started to ring and I started to panic, I turned around quickly and realized that it was two big bombs that were triggered. I was completely shocked my mouth was fully open with my eyes bulging towards the bomb site with people seriously injured. My family quickly
