The stuffy, gentle salty breeze chills me as the night goes on and goosebumps cover my arms as wind flows through my sundress. Upon entering the pier, I view the vast ocean, the rippling water swishes onto the docks creating a beat like drums. Along with that I can hear the crowd cheering and giggling like hyenas. I see vendors selling fresh coconut milk out of brown hairy coconuts. I also see lots of creamy, melted ice cream,
When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
It was a fine sunny day. The blazing sun of the desert beats down on all the clammy people walking around. The main characters in this story are my mom, dad and childish younger brother. We are in Orlando,Florida. Our parents took us on vacation in the spring.
I jumped in, and immediately began scrambling to make sure everything was alright. Once I finally got down to the reef, I was anything but scared. The reef was like its own underwater city; everything was so alive. The vibrant corals waving through the current, the schools of fish swimming around like they were performing some sort of dance, and the occasional turtle or ray that sparked
I would rather live in Miami, Florida than in Peoria, Illinois, because Miami is near Disney, has great shops, and nice weather. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been infatuated with Disney. I passed that infatuation down to my siblings. My parents love to travel with us.
In life, many events can contribute to the way we act, the way we think and the choices we make. Essentially, a person goes through certain life changing events that may leave a huge imprint on their lives. Some changes can be very microscopic leaving little to no impression at all . However, other events such as , getting married, having a baby, or graduating college can change someone 's life drastically. For me, the life-changing event that changed my life was moving to Jacksonville Florida.
If I could be anywhere right now I would choose to be on the beach in Florida. I would be in Fort Myers Beach, Florida because that is my favorite place to visit in Florida. When I visit Florida I enjoy laying around the pool and going to the beach. Florida is my ideal place for relaxation, it clears my head. I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Florida because I always have such a great time when I visit.
Coming to Miami I can still remember that gloomy sky on October 21st 2001. It seemed like a normal day to me, yet that day would change my life forever. I remember my mother rushing around the house trying to gather my brother’s clothes while I just sat on the floor observing so much commotion around me. For an 8 year old, I was a very hipper child. I ran around the house, climbed trees, sat on the roof top which was 3 floors high.
The reason that my mom, dad, and I went to Jacksonville was for my mom to go to training school for Dollar General. Since we went the week before school started,we also went school clothes shopping. We stayed in a huge hotel. On the second day, my dad and I had decided to drive down to the beach and fishing peer. My dad and I didn’t get to stay long because we had to go to open house to meet my teachers.
Everyone around us seemed happy; the children were playing; the parents were laughing; the teenagers were surfing; and the grandparents were walking along the beach. All around us, there was happiness, romance, and excitement. The memories being made here, would last forever. As Robert and I sat on the beach, he laid his head in my lap.
After years of waiting, we were finally going to go back to our favorite place, Disney World and now that the time was now, my heart was filled with joy. My short legs walked around the Magic Kingdom remembering where everything was as if nothing had changed in 4 years. We took in the wonderful scent of vanilla and fried food as we adventured around what seems like my second home. It felt like a trip down memory lane as we walked to the attraction we always do first, the Buzz Lightyear shooting game. Once we finished the ride, we went on with our day looking at all the new attractions added since the last time we had been there, such as the impressive Ariel’s new grotto/palace and also the Beast’s castle in the new Fantasyland.
The first morning we woke up we had to decide what to do. Eventually we decided to go
I remember the first time I left Memphis. It was also the first time I rode on an airplane. I was thirteen years old, around the time of Christmas. My parents thought it would be a good Christmas present if we all went on vacation for a change.
If you’ve ever had the chance to watch the 1980’s movie “The Blue Lagoon” with Brooke Shields, you might know that the blue lagoon in the movie is stunning. I had the chance to go to Jamaica with my family and see it with my own eyes, it wasn’t only beautiful it was also a bit magical. The blue lagoon in Jamaica has to be the coolest thing i've ever seen in nature. We were staying in a place called Port Antonio when a guy from the hotel told us that the blue lagoon of the movie was really close from us, we had to go and see it. Early in the morning we woke up and went to the beach where the boat that would take us there was waiting for us.
It all started on a summer day, I went to nags head beach with my family. We got a big beach house with my whole family and a few friends. This was about 4 years but it feels like it was just the other day. We went at the very end of the summer. It was still nice and warm outside.
