Personal Narrative: Stress Relief Meditation

Although this was not the first time I have participated in stress relief meditation; however, it was hard for me to concentrate. I have a problem with blocking out random thoughts, and my surroundings that I just seem to have little to no control over. After performing the meditation process three times I was finally able to reach a comfortable place in my mind. In the first minute or so I began to feel the release of tension in my lower back and around my neck. I began to become more aware of the sound of the birds. I began to recognize how loud the wind was rippling through the trees and the sound of the water running off into the river. I could feel the wind gentle breeze across my back and between each individual toe. In my mind I picture
