I want to be one of the first to welcome you to Eastpointe, Michigan. This is a pretty typical town. A very neutral balance between Black and White people. A slowly rising crime rate and mediocre schools. This town is typical for me, but probably is very different from what you’re accustomed in Africa. This small town outside the City of Detroit has become home to me and I hope it can become home for you. A few tips to help you adjust to this very anticipated change of surroundings. Be always vigilant at all cost, because your life might depend on it. Surround yourself with goal oriented people. You can identify these people by going to activities that interest them such as math club or national junior honor society. You are always welcome at my home, and I’m a pretty decent guy. I personally like it, a very realistic culture has been cultivated to where you get a really integrated mix of what America is like. I hope I can be the bridge that integrates you with this culture that I have become so accustomed. You will find that the faculty and staff at the school are there for almost anything you need or need help with. The parents are very nice and courteous. Friends are very easy to make and life can be as hard and unforgiving or great and generous as you would like it to be its all dependant on you. Also , Season her can be very radical.
