Overall, as a Nurse Informaticist, my future contributions to the nursing profession hold the potential to drive positive change, improve patient care outcomes, and advance the integration of technology and data-driven decision-making in healthcare delivery. Personal Philosophy: As a nurse, I embrace a holistic approach to care that prioritizes compassion, empathy, and advocacy for the well-being of every individual. My personal philosophy in nursing is rooted in my core values, the principles that drive me daily. And these include human-centered care. My philosophy is deeply rooted in the humanistic tradition of nursing, which emphasizes the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. I draw inspiration from the work of nursing theorists such as Jean Watson, who advocates for a caring-healing model centered on the nurse-patient relationship (Watson, 2008). I believe in providing compassionate, person-centered care that respects the unique needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of each patient (McCormack & McCance, 2017).
