Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, or that’s what Webster's dictionary says. Each person, however, needs to define what his or her own personal philosophy of success is. I see success as having three areas to which strategies can be applied. These three areas are: physical success, social success, and intellectual success.
Physical success is possibly the easiest gain some accomplishments. It is simply the waking up to tomorrow. I can make sure that I am staying healthy by simply having regular vision, hearing, and physical checkups. I can also help my body remain healthy and strong by staying physically active at least 30 minutes a day, and finishing my personal fitness merit badge is a step in the right direction. By

Family members are usually around whether I want them or not, so I may as well learn how to deal with them and make the best of it. That means making sure that I have time to keep up with game night with my dad, that I antagonize my sister a little less, or that I help my mom with chores without being asked. While I can’t choose my family, I can choose my friends, and I tend to look for my friends at the activities that I enjoy the most like Boy Scouts. Making sure that I have time to devote to my friends is important. I need to make sure that I set aside time to hang out and do fun things with them, like making a pizza and game night. Friendship, however, is a two way street and I can’t always expect my friends to do the things that I want to do. Making sure that I do things that my friends are interested in, as well as making sure that I am not always forcing them to do things that they may not want to or that only I find interesting, is an important part in working together and establishing a long-term friendships. Possibly the hardest thing about social success is learning those interpersonal skill of how to work
