I have always wanted to be a Videogame designer which is a designer of the sound and atmosphere of a videogame. I have always wanted to have a hand in making a new world, to do something I love, and to have a nice pay grade. I was first interested in making videogames since I was eight. Gaming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and over the years I came up with amazing ideas for games. Almost two years ago I made a Roleplay online and over that time I thought of how awesome it would be to actually make it into a real thing! To make the world be visible to everyone. But however my main concern is that I will not end up doing the best I can and end up getting fired.

Some helpful courses to take during High School would be Art, Writing Classes, Photoshop, and Graphic Design. Some of these courses should also be seeked after High School as well like Graphic Design and Sound Design so the worker can increase their knowledge about how to create the atmosphere of the world in the videogame and to also make it easier to use the systems. But to even qualify for the job a High School Diploma is needed and at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics or Computer Engineering as mentioned before. The person wishing to become a Videogame Designer should also have good social skills and great computer skills. The person should also have good skills with psychology because they will need to know how to make a character seem more alive and give them their own personality, and to allow players to connect with the characters better. They also do not have to wear a uniform whether they are self employed or not. They also tend to have a more comfortable workspace than what other careers offer. They also do not have to worry about being hurt on the job because almost all the work is indoors unlike many other careers. They also get to be creative with their work, and you even get to play the games before they even come out to the public. (“What Are the Benefits of Being a Video Game Designer?” 1)
At the moments the chances of me obtaining this career are very slim. But as of now I have some experience in Photoshop which is one of the things that can help me get the job and allows me to have better chances at obtaining the job. I plan on living a good distance from the workplace because I wish to stay close to my family in case they need help with something; possibly somewhere near St. Louis. Mainly because from the chart I happened to look at it showed that St. Louis had the largest second highest growth for Video Game Designing in Missouri. (“Employment and Outlook”
