Future Aspirations

The interest in wanting to join HPREP comes from the desire to study medicine. This program offers what I can only hope to be a part of, it must be an extremely challenging program as it selects students who are worthy of being part of it, yet I hope that my aspiration to focus on a field of medicine as a career for my future and my eagerness to learn about the subject is enough to make me part of it. The program would be able to provide me the introduction that I have so patiently been waiting for, and will force me out of my comfort zone and allow me to explore a wide range of studies.
Growing up in a Latino country, made me realize that education in any form is a gift and I am grateful for being lucky enough to have the opportunity that so many others want; making the most of what I have and seeking education beyond my boundaries has always been one of my main priorities. Being part of this program would allow me to be prepared even more for what I hope to be in the future. Medicine has always been a wonder, it’s a subject in which you never stop learning and can all always continue to explore, the interest in this subject started in 2014 after I was involved in a car accident. This is the beauty of the anatomy of our bodies. We are not always capable of controlling our feelings, despite this, our body carries on to survive, it adapts itself to cope with the struggles that come with life and continues to battle whatever it is that is hurting it.
