Having my own business had been a dream of mines for as long as I can remember. That's why the career I hope to follow would be one of an entrepreneur. For one, I can be my own boss and I want to become a business owner. Being my own boss means I can work when and where I want to. Meaning I choose my own hours and I get to decide if I want to work from home or go into the office if that's what I want to do. Another benefit of being my own boss is I get to pick who I want to work with. Nobody wants to work with an unreliable slacker, I know I wouldn't. I need someone who can work and contribute to my company and will do what they were hired for. But that's just a few of the benefits of being my own boss. As a boss, I get to create opportunities like going to conventions and networking with people who have the same goals as me. I guess you can say I was inspired to want to become a business owner. As a kid, I remember my parents would have me making coffee and sometimes breakfast. One day a friend of my mother had come to visit her and as usual, they asked me to make some coffee. And the very moment her friend had tasted it, she started to smile and being telling me how good it was, and that I needed to open a coffee shop or a restaurant. Every time she would come over she would ask for coffee and tell me the same thing like before. After telling her it a few times I became convinced that having my own business was my true calling. I have considered other options for what I wanted to do besides being a restaurant owner. But just the thought of doing something that can benefit others is what attracts me to this career field more and
