Aspiration
I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and the incredible capacity of medicine. This fascination became a passion to pursue a career as a physician to make a positive impact on the lives of my patients, to be a part of their healing journey, and to have the ability to bring hope and comfort to those in need, is what motivates me to pursue this career path. The study of biology has also allowed me to become more familiar with the latest research and advancements in the field, which helps me to stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technology. As a pre-med undergraduate student, my goal is to become a physician and I believe that studying biology is the best way to prepare myself for a career in medicine as it is the most common major for women in this career (Putting your major to work: Career paths after college).
