Why Would I Love To Be a Business Educator?
My beautiful journey in the salon industry has gifted me with vital tools to share and help others thrive in a professional salon environment. I would absolutely love to share my experience and knowledge to help other people grow and be successful in their business!
When I started in this industry, almost 40 years ago, I had no knowledge about business. I thought with good technical skills and a good personality, success would come naturally. Yet, after my first 10 years in the industry I realized I wasn't where I wanted to be and I wasn't as successful as I thought I would be. Frustrated and determined to be successful, I found the busiest salon in town and landed a job there. That was the start of a great career. The salon’s main focus was education and since then I have never looked back.

In following that path I became a very successful booth renter. After five years of working as a booth renter, an opportunity arose for me to work with my husband at our manufacturing company. I had to go back to school to learn computer and accounting skills; it was all so exciting to me. It wasn't an easy decision to leave the work I loved behind the chair, yet I was excited to have an opportunity to do something different in my life.
