To summarize my professional mission and leadership objective, I describe myself as a transformational leader that supports the community college’s mission to provide access, equality, and democracy for all students. I am committed to being a respected role model that values hard work and celebrates the talents and gifts of the team. Moreover, my leadership style exhibits a strong, quiet strength and confidence that makes people feel appreciated and valued. In this essay, I will describe my educational and career journey, areas of interest, and identify my future career path in community college leadership that compliments my leadership style and values.
When I think of my future career goals, I reflect on the journey that eventually leads me to pursue a career in higher education.
