I recently received a notification of the job opening at the Wasatch Hills Seventh-day Adventist church and could not help but become deeply inspired and interested in the position. Over the past few months, I have been in deep thought about how to best serve the Lord as I end my journey here at the seminary. None of the positions that I have seen have really moved me strongly until I saw this one; it is the perfect niche of where I believe I could be of service. I have a deep passion for youth, choosing to constantly serve in Sabbath School divisions since I graduated from high school. I love seeing youth grow closer to Jesus, each other, and their families, both church and literal.
We will be able to accomplish this, by doing as he says and caring for others. By knowing our vocations earlier in life, we may be followers of God by spreading his good news and acting as Junipero Serra did. Ministry will help to grow the community of the Church and the World. Together we can profess and spread our faith through Ministry. As we come together, we will be able to carry out Christ’s message in the world.
Being a part of an organization that works to serve Christ in this way is a point of convergence. Meaning, the experiences that have brought me to this point in my life have prepared me for a position like this endeavor in addition, there are experiences I would have at Falls Creek that would better enhance preexisting skills for what I want to do in the future. My family is in support of my decision. They
Many people come across roadblocks through their journey of life. I know I've had my fair share of them. The biggest bump in my academic life was changing it completely upside down. Growing up african American or with any skin that holds the slightest of pigment is not easy, but that's obvious due to our nation's past. Racism and stereotypeing has always been there.
The Republic, by Plato provides us with four different definitions of justice which are given by the four characters Cephalus, Polemarchus, Thrasymachus, and Glaucon. According to Cephalus, the definition of justice includes the laws and repaying one’s creditors. Socrates doesnot agree to the idea that of repayment of creditors as always to be a good idea. The second person to define Justice was Polymarchus, the son of Cephalus. In his opinion, justice is defined as helping your friends and harming your rivals.
I will definitely be making changes in my lifestyle and motiving the people around me so that we will one day be able to notice
Opening Statement: I will introduce my topic by having an introductory slide showing artwork of the miracles which have occurred within various different cultures. In doing so, it will provide a broad spectrum as to what I will be discussing. These pictures will resemble my statement that all religions and cultures have experienced some form of miraculous event. Secondly, I will state that there are well known and scarcely known miracles within many different faiths as well. By showing these images, the class is able to gain a certain perspective about the variety of miracles I will be discussing as the presentation continues.

Why People Follow My mother has had the most positive influence in my daily life. From childhood into adulthood I have made plenty mistakes and gotten into trouble. During My struggles I turn to my mother for guidance. She may not be the most affectionate person, but she will be my foundation.
Everyone has a calling from God, but it’s up to the person on whether or not they want to pursue the journey to find the
Over the years I have been very active in my community. I am a teacher aid of the organisation Saint Joan of Arc Religious Education, a organization spreads the catholic religion and values to the youth that develop character to enrich those around them. As a volunteer at Saint Joan of Arc Religious, I monitored the hallways, aided 20+ teachers in their classrooms, provided childcare for 200+ students, and locked classrooms after class. The community service accomplishment that I'm most proud of is the work I do to help set up the teachers lesson for the some days. As a result of my community service, I gained hands-on experience in teaching about the catholic religion.
School is definitely one of my main priorities. I have tried to go to school in the past and have not had much luck as far as staying motivated throughout the process. For a personal obstacle that I have overcome would be not to be selfish. I have a little boy and I am a big part of his life and I need to go to school to make a better life for us and set an example of what he needs to do in the future. For a professional obstacle, I think it would be to encourage myself to stay focused knowing that college will only increase the business and not take from it.
Currently I am enrolled in the Spanish Literature and Language program at Northern Illinois University and this fall I will be starting the teaching certification program. Having my Spanish degree and teaching certificate I plan to find a position teaching Spanish at the middle school level. In one of my early textbooks, I remember there being a section where they explained that there is a harmony between cultural and language at the time I was not able to connect the two. Now I see the light, and can see what they were trying to explain.
