Morality and ethical principles are important in shaping the direction, value and the behaviors of an individual. Furthermore, moral and ethical principles help shape the future and promote usefulness in the society (Severson 5). The activities undertaken in the daily events are governed by the degree of self-drive in making informed decisions in a selfless manner to assist others. I believe in embracing the right in the light of serving humanity and advocating for what is the best and appropriate for the good of all in the society. It is noteworthy that all the values are promoted at Regis University. Learning at the University presents the dedication to provide insights into leadership in the service to humanity. In addition to personal values that to appreciate the efforts of the others in helping the needy, I possess skills and knowledge acquired during elementary school in partnership with the Catholic school. Particularly, I am grateful and passionate to identify with the needy in the communities at large. I realized that communities living in poverty-stricken areas, health and social injustices deserved assistance. I am an organized person who appreciates the religious affliction of the other people regardless of the region they hail from with rhyme with the inter-religious drive by the Jesuit values (Brockway 24). The passion to join the nursing institutions emanated from the inner convictions and the call to serve others. The Regis University in conjunction with the Catholic education values to recognize and uphold the dignity and respect to the people are reflected in the health ethics in which I highly regard (Martin 67).
