Hello, my name is Sophia Henry I was born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Florida. I just recently moved to Washington during the summer. My husband is in the Navy and I have Yorkie name Duchess. I Started working for Martha and Mary in July. I have little over 2 years’ experience working with children.
I'm interested in working at Glory Days because I feel it would help me mature and give me an opportunity to become a new member of a fun job. I learned about working at Glory Days from my dad who is friend is a manager at the Glory Days on Hunters Ridge. This would be a great opportunity for me to start working and become more responsible. I am very involved in school activities including Debate, dancing with the band, and Forensics. I am a good scholar as I get A's and B's in all my classes.
When starting my day I would wake up at 7:30 am. I would take a shower to help wake me up in the morning and get dressed. Then I would get something to eat for breakfast. Once I was done eating I’d brush my teeth and make sure I had everything I needed for work. Once I double checked that I had everything together for work I would begin driving to Bluff Powersports.
On May 30 2013 someone was saying to his friend, Ciara“Alright Ciara, I need to tell; you this now. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Also, there’s some bad news… I have to evacuate my home. There’s an extremely large fire maybe 15 miles from my house and heading this way..” and he sent her “I can see the flames from my house!
Then it’s the other part of me that’s like you can still be successful without a college degree. I do understand that college isn’t for everyone, and even though it took me a long time to understand I get it. Most people don’t want to deal with the debt that comes with college and you could take out loans but then you have to think about the interest rate as well. A lot of these high-paying jobs aren’t guaranteed because most companies want you to have experience. Another thing is how can I have experience when I just got out of college and now they're trying to pay me a low hourly rate to the point you’re going to have student loans forever.
In Dan Buetner’s Ted Talk “How to Live to be 100+” he discusses areas in the world that are considered “Blue Zones”. These areas are places where people are more likely to live to be over one hundred years old, which is a lot longer than the expected life of an American. Dan and a group of people studied the lives of these people from these different areas and broke down what was unique about their lives that could possibly allow them to live so much longer than the average person. The three things he found in common was movement, philosophy, and diet. He argues that if one moved naturally for exercise, have the right outlook on life, and eat wisely, many could live to be a lot older than expected.
The clear blue sky, the scorching hot sun, and the thunderous noise of explosions has been my sole company throughout my days as a soldier in the Eastern front. Being forced by Nazi officials to enter the army to serve my Fatherland, I was left with no choice but to accept my fate. Despair, guilt, and disgust filled me hitherto, as I am instructed to fight, especially murder my fellow Communist supporters in Soviet Union. Instructed by Heydrich, we as soldiers shall not show any mercy in destroying the heartland of ‘Judeo-Bolshevism’ (Moeller 117). Bloodbath is what I see daily, torture becomes part of my job, and killing becomes my goal.
In terms of deciding on a future career I feel that I’m
I do understand that it 's difficult to find the dedication to push through college and create a safety net for yourself but I also love the career that I have chosen. Every single one of my qualities have pointed me towards this path. My good memory, my belief in social justice. my love for politics, and even my disappointment with the US Immigration system has led me to the decision that the only way I can fight what I don 't agree with is to educate and better myself. I want to be the reason that my mom believes fully in the American dream again.
Hello, I hope this email finds you well. As a result of many unpleasant findings during time spent working at Tris, I have no choice but to resign. I have been held responsible and reprimanded for things all resulting from incredibly poor training/no training at all, I have had my hours cut reprehensibly (down to half their original time on random shifts), and I am now the only Tris Manhattan Beach employee who has not received their schedule for the month of February. I find all of these to be incredibly disrespectful of my time.
“No company wants to object talents”, My uncle says, “It seems that it is not equal, but that is our lives, and I have to go ahead.” My uncle’s experience tells me that the opportunity in our lives is not equal when it refers to the factor of talent, and the man whose talents have more areas would have more advantages because many people believe that the man with more talents means he is a better worker. We need to accept this type of inequality, update our talents in more areas and make us more advantaged for
I have had a lot of obscure jobs in the past, working for an airplane repair facility, working for an answering service in a small backroom of a funeral home, jobs in retail, and now working at a car dealership – at least for now. While it sounds like I have been in the working world at length, it is has only been a little over a decade since I got my first afterschool job. It seems I bring a bout of bad luck with me wherever I go, though my former employers have not a negative word to share about me, a rave review is hard to come by from an out of service number as every place I have worked for has gone out of business. Expiration dates are all part of the deal when it comes to the working world, it is something that I dread, but accept.
Overworked. That’s the closest word that I could use to describe this week. I feel like this journal is going to be about me just bickering, yet there is some stuff you might want to read about. First of all, I have been sleeping three hours this week because of upcoming midterms, quizzes, and assignments due. I am sleep deprived and mentally drained and as my second year in college I have never had my life drained out of my body like a passing shadow.
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
My Worst Job When I was sixteen, one of my middle school friends named Jessica was a shift leader at dunkin she wanted me to work with her for the summer to have some extra money. It seemed like a lot of fun for the first week or so, but it turned out to be the worst job of my life. My job was the front cash register. This was fun I actually enjoyed it
