The internet has provided a vast swath of information that, before its creation was unavailable to the average individual. It also allowed people to become more connected with the world on a global scale that was previously thought to be impossible and has become an integral part of our society.

Whenever there is a slow moment in an individual's life, they are quick to pickup their phone and find something on the internet to entertain themselves. This incessant need to find something on the internet to entertain themselves whenever there is a dull moment in one's life nurtures a dependency for one's device, this dependency can become so strong that individuals may experience may find that they are unable to go about their day without having their phones on them.
