Having your own car makes you feel more undependable and comfortable in your life. You can go to any places without bothering someone else for a ride. Teen Driving All my life I dreamed of driving a car on my own, growing up my father would sit me on his lap while he drives his dads 76’ Corvette Stingray. The steering wheel vibrations, rumbling of the engine smell of hot asphalt gave me such an adrenaline rush at a young age. Ever since then, I knew as soon as I could drive I would do everything in my power to do so. When I came of age to drive, my parents didn’t trust me.

The friends, family, and neighbors of the thousands of people killed each year in distracted driving crashes will tell you it is very serious safety problem”(Distracted Driving 7). America has had its fair share of troubled times, but the widest known wars throughout history happen to involved the world. World War I and World War II cost many American lives as well as other nations. All the reasons for fighting these wars can be justified, but whether that justification is true, the world may never know. World War I (WWI), took place over a span of a few years causing many deaths. WWI took place in the years 1914-1919.
Although not speeding is a good habit, it can also kill. I do not have my drivers license yet, so I am not driving at this time. It makes me very nervous when people drive too fast and do not obey the law. There is evidence that shows that speeding is not safe. In 2014, over 40 percent of all deaths in Arkansas are caused by speeding.
Studying for the test, passing the test on the computer, and the driving test—just the process, and then getting my driver’s license and driving. That sense of freedom that I could drive, and if I’m pulled over I know it must be justified somehow, and if I did something bad then I know that the cop isn’t going to write me up for something that I can’t say anything about.
The state of Florida does not do what is necessary to prevent distracted driving, just putting laws in place won't solve the problem. Florida needs to realize that driving accidents due to distraction happen daily, hourly even, and just putting up “Safe Phone Zones” and making texting/calling while driving illegal is not what this issue calls for. The legislation in the state of Florida is not able to keep pace with all the distractions drivers deal with. With such developments coming to a head, these regulations that currently exist are falling short. The state needs to take strides in the right direction of educating rather than enforcing.
Does Wisconsin do enough to prevent distracted driving? Well, Wisconsin does all it can do to prevent distracted driving. This state has placed a ban on texting and driving as well as any cell phone use at all while driving for novice drivers. Some disagree that Wisconsin has done enough to stop distracted driving. They use that distracted driving crashes in Wisconsin have increased as an argument against Wisconsin’s distraction driving prevention.
Driving seems like a simple task, after all most people in the world do it in what seems to be an effortless way. What people fail to talk about are the difficulties of driving after doing it for such a long time, specifically when you reach your elderly years. Elderly drivers are faced with multiple issues when driving on the road, including weather conditions that make them experience fear about driving, medical complications and health status that affect the way they drive, and age-related vulnerabilities that alter the way they used to drive as an adult. Elderly drivers should be required to reapply for their driving licenses to not only ensure the people around them are safe, but also to ensure their own safety. As people become older,
David Odom Rafael Gonzales English 102 13 February 2018 Driving slow in the fast lanes Driving can be frustrating. It doesn 't matter when, where, or what but its frustrating. America should not allow self-driving cars/trucks on the road because any computer can be hacked. While these self-driving cars/trucks are on the road, wrecks can occur, and their system can be shut down anytime. America should not allow self-driving cars and trucks on the road because how would feel people about walking across the street now? I feel like self-driving cars/trucks should not be allowed on the road because of the road rage today. The self-driving cars/trucks may go the speed limit, while others may want to go at a greater speed.
