Meaning, with that being said drivers can't multitask on their phones while driving. However, what if your using a GPS to get you to your location? I agree with this law because it can prevent accidents, cause less distraction, keep you more focused on the road, and its much more safer. I think it can prevent accidents because if you can't drive while using your phone you will be more alert while being on the road. Most accidents happen because drivers like to be on their phone. Instead of them paying attention to what's going on in their surroundings they rather be on their phone at stop lights, stop signs, and intersections etc. Some people could just glance at their phone for less than a minute and then BOOM! You just took someone's life that quick just because your phone was more important than anything. With that being said that shows you its not a good idea to try and multitask while driving because it can cause serious crashes and consequences as well. Another thing with this law is that it can keep you more focused on the road and cause less distraction.
