Also I bet you have no idea how bad these animals are treated during testing or how many animals are killed in a year because of testing. There are over 100 million animals being killed in the U.S every year. These animals are being forced to inhale toxic fumes, have holes drilled into their skulls, some even having their skin burned off, or getting their spinal cord crushed. These poor innocent animals are being tested for drugs, chemicals, food, and cosmetic testing (2). Think, those are only some test these animals are getting torched with. Did you know 90% of drug testing on animals fail? (2) Now i’m going to give you a sneak peak of the animal testing. Us girls are well aware about the makeup company MAC, right? Well they test their products on animals. See their thing is that they are so against animal testing, but since they want to sell their products in China they have to animal test. China requires a thing called a Hygiene permit. Which allows MAC to sell their products after sending the protect to be tested on an animal. Since people that invent makeup or any human products also may use new ingredients, they believe it’s better to test on animals (1). Even though at the end of the day it’s not animals that are going to use the products. They think it’s a good idea to irritate animals skin or eyes, depending if they’re going to drip chemicals in animals eyes or rub harsh chemicals on animals skin (1). However, they still think it’s a brilliant idea to animal test because we aren’t harming humans, we are just harming our little animal
