Imagine yourself being inside a cage in and lights glaring onto you, with no control of any aspect in your life, not being abled to do anything and be isolated, this is what life is like for an animal being tested on. Ladies and gentlemen, approximately 100,000-200,000 animals have suffered dramatic health issues or have died because of animal testing. Each and everyone has suffered or died because of testing in the cosmetic industry. Cosmetic testing on animals plays a significant part in animal cruelty. When hearing animals are in misery, being burned and killed is the most heart breaking thing to hear, this is all because of animal testing on everyday cosmetic products humans use. Each year scientist in the U.S pays over billions of dollars out of tax pay just for animals so that they can be tested for cosmetic use, such as mice, rats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Ladies and Gentlemen the U.S murders around 100 million mice and rats each year, why? You maybe asking, its because scientist believe that rats and mice have a very similar nervous system to us human beings, also believing that they share the same feelings as we do. Scientist use mice and rats more than rabbits and guinea pigs for cosmetic use because The Animal Welfare Act, meaning it, does not cover them, as it is a federal law for the U.S that guinea pigs and rabbits are allowed to be given pain killers to help them recover, whereas the rats and mice the scientist don’t care about because they think there are thousands of their species they are left to die, (need to conclude this
