While most people only look at animal abuse as starvation or chaining up animals, there are different forms of animal abuse. Animal abuse still runs rampant in today’s society with horrific practices like animal testing, dog fighting and organizational animal captivity. During animal testing, animals do not have a say in what happens to them. The animals in labs never get to see sun light or feel fresh air and they are crammed in small cages for most of their life. Some experiments they test on animals have the animals restrained, sometimes by the legs and neck, and sometimes their entire body is restrained and they are left that way for months, helpless and in pain. Animals do not only experience physical pain, but emotional as well. They are always in agony, and in fear of the next procedure that may be practiced on them.
