Animal Abuse Marina Markarian 11A Al Mawakeb School-BR Everyone has been to the zoo at least once in their lives. All those adorable animals that are seen in those cages ready for display. The little coo that bubbles from our throats as our eyes capture an image of such an adorable creature. Despite all the happiness that emerges from within, not many know the horrors behind those closed bars. Animal maltreatment has been an extremely underrated issue in the past years. It is necessary to shed light on this horrific topic. Most zoo’s declare their animal’s full safety, but the animal’s still end up suffering from harsh conditions such as malnutrition, physical abuse, and living in confinement.
