Animal rights Vs. Animal Testing
Animal rights Vs. animal testing has been an issue for many years. There has been protests and debates on stopping animal testing and allowing them to have rights. Animals have been used as test subjects for many years without a single thought put towards it. Using animals for testing has been said to be unethical and cruel and unusual abuse. An estimated amount of 26 million animals are used each year for testing. Animal testing is abuse towards the animals,they don’t use protected animals, and the results are concluded to be inaccurate.
Most people don’t really know what happens to the animals when they have to go through testing. They have to be put through many different torturous tests until they are left screaming and crying in pain. Animals have feelings just as humans do, they can feel a mother's love, loneliness, pain, love, joy, and fear; if it would hurt us it will hurt them too. During these experiments the animal’s pain is not being taken into consideration they do many harmful and painful things such as, Injecting or force feeding animals with potentially harmful substances, surgically removing animals organs or tissue to deliberately cause damage, forcing animals to inhale toxic gas, and subjecting animals to frightening situations to create anxiety and depression. Animals don’t know the things that humans do, they don’t know the things that they are being tested for but they do know what
