Many people now more than ever are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and the available cures and treatments are to the least, disappointing. Therefore, it has been considered that effective strategies are the only way to curb this disease. For sure, prevention is better than cure!
For instance, statistics have shown that delaying the onset of Alzheimer for at least one year for a single individual could potentially prevent more than 9 million cases in within the next 40 years. The most devastating effect of this disease is that, once the cognitive abilities of a patient are lost, they may be lost forever. Therefore, we must realize and agree to the fact that prevention rather than cure is the best strategy against the offset of Alzheimer.
