The school your child attends has a dramatic impact on their success. This is a big concern for students who want to have a better life than they are living right now. Your child's academic success can be hindered by classmates behavior, education system, and environment around the school. In general the type of school can impact your child's academic success in a good or horrible way. If you are a reasonable parent, you want the best for your child success. Don’t worry there is a solution for you, the best school for your child to attend would be Charter schools. Charter schools provides better academic success for students than Public schools, this can have a direct impact on the student's academic success and their surrounding community. The San fernando Valley has two schools such as, San Fernando High school a public school and Vaughn International Studies Academy a charter school. San Fernando high school opened in 1896 and Vaughn just opened in 2005. These school are located with each other and already have a big difference on student’s academic success. The parents and principal have meetings discussing ways to make it a better school than it is . They would talk about fundraising and which classes to add that are important for the students. San fernando has fundraiser and want the parents to get involved but it's not mandatory. Some parents do not know about their child's education and their success at the school. These parents are probably working all the time or simply don’t care. Parents who don’t get involved at the school are hindering their child success and doesn't even know it.
