Breakfast, one thing that shouldn't have to be hard. In an ad for peanut butter Cheerios, you are thrown into the life of an American dad going through his daily routines with all the responsibilities a dad have. The ad continues with how much a dad has to do and how it can get complicated which transitions into how breakfast shouldn't be complicated with all the responsibilities. Then at the end of the ad, it shows the Cheerios and calls it the official cereal of dad-hood then shows a family playing basketball. This commercial ties into many aspects of life that we can relate to but its main goal is to sell the product. At the end of the day, the commercial is made to sell its product and it does a great job in this department, they're going for a simple, fast, and easy campaign. You are immersed in how you can immerse their product into your everyday life because it's simple, easy, and quick. Cheerios is puting out an image you can be like with our Cheerios. The product is specifically logical because, for a busy family, you would want something quick and easy. They have a great quote at the end saying “Dads are awesome and so are peanut butter Cheerios so that is why it's the official cereal of dad hood” (PeanButter Cheerios commercial).
