Juice and soda have been around for a long time, however; during that time, two brands have weathered the societal storm of advancement and have stayed effective in their reiteration the nation over. Sunny juice and Crush soda are the two brands that I have chosen for my compare and contrast of the rhetorical strategies used inside their takes note. The chief advertisement we picked was from Sunny juice. This print advancement, which we found on the web, shows a container made out of 100% of vitamin C that have stayed in American culture since their hidden rising to reputation. Next, we have the Crush soda advertisement.
This is a prime example of how Kellogg’s Cereal company uses rhetoric in their commercials, more specifically though personification. Kellogg’s has used many forms of rhetoric in their Frosted Flakes commercials since the creation of their famous company, and like all things that have existed for a long period of time, they’re bound to change over time.

Cheerios: The Heart Healthy Heartwarming Brand The world is commonly attracted to the imagery of wholesome loyal family love with the idea of simple family life as open and inviting with nothing but trust and good intentions in sight, and that’s exactly what advertisers take advantage of being the masters of manipulation that they are using both obvious and subconscious methods to appeal to their audiences. An example of this could be found in a popular Cheerios ad from General Mills. The scene begins with a little girl walking into the kitchen to her mother sitting at their breakfast table, and she puts down a box of Cheerios asking if the cereal is as good for your heart as her dad told her. Her mother confirms her statement by telling
The image above list different things that may connect more to a person such as a people with young kids, or a person with gluten allergy, or even a business that’s is in need of catering. This information attracts potential guest that I based off the majority of individuals who visit Noodles on a daily bases. Although we do have our regulars, this commercial can appeal to regulars, people who relates to the list, and those who don’t. Audience is a very important element when creating a commercial. The audience is the potential guest who will grow your business, so relating to them is crucial in any form of advertisement.
This sentence I find very odd and slightly sad. It speaks of a torturing a raccoon by offering it a sugar cube. The author then explains that raccoons are very particular about cleaning their food before they have eaten it. I find this ironic because my first association of raccoons would be of them eating scraps from human trash cans. Even though they go through the trouble of cleaning their food essentially they are still eating waste and trash that humans disposed.
Fat acceptance is a radical concept that most Americans shy away from discussing. This is not the case with Hillel Schwartz’s essay “Fat and Happy?” from his book Never Satisfied. Schwartz discusses the way fat people are treated by society and what he believes life would be like if we lived in a Fat Society rather than the current Skinny World we live in. In his article it seems that Schwartz’s goal is to capture the attention of as many different audiences as possible by using sarcasm and many different sides to his argument that fat acceptance should be an important value in society.
There is not a more fitting yet accurate representation than to commence this paper with the lyrics from Eye of the Tiger (Sullivan, 1982). Without even typing the words, it is a fair assumption that the ballads, harmonies, and chorus are playing in your mind. The imagery and feeling you accompany with the song creep into your thoughts. Words that without a musical formation would be lost, are remembered with precise accuracy – but why? How is it that due to a rhythmic structure a combination of words are easily recalled?

In 2013 a commercial advertisement aired during The Super Bowl, that advertisement caused so much controversy that people started requesting that it get banned. The issue with commercial was simply the fact that it featured and mixed family with an interracial child. The fact that so many people tune into The Super Bowl is what seemed to have set this off, many people believed it didn’t portray the “modern American family”. While many people expressed how they felt about the allowance of portraying an interracial family during such huge event was “disgusting”, but the children from Kids React have very open minded approach to the commercial. These commercial opened up the eyes of the American people to see that we are still not excepting of
Henry David Thoreau passionately wrote several essays about different aspects of nature and humans’ relationship with nature. For instance, in the essay “Wild Apples”, Thoreau summarizes the history of wild apples, the current state of wild apples, and the possibility that wild apples might become extinct. Furthermore, throughout “Wild Apples”, Thoreau argues why wild apples should be maintained ( does “maintain” work to replace conserve ?)for the future generations. To address this inquiry, he discusses apples’ importance during ancient times, the ways apples are the most efficient of all crops, and the bond several animals have with apple trees. ( Is it ok if the highlighted portion is almost the same as the intro for my other essay ?
Milk is refreshing, muscle building, and nutritious. “Got milk?” uses this advertisement to get this point across. It consists of Taylor Swift, whose portrait is in the center of the ad, flirtingly leaning on her dark red guitar lined with a light tan rim. Her smooth pale face is slightly tilted to the right as she is seductively gazing into the camera with her starry brown eyes. She has a gentle, small, pearly white smile, which is adorned with the white stain of milk.
